Community Arts Access Grants are still available through the Buchanan Center for the Arts for local arts and educational arts organizations. Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert state applications for the grants are due by Friday, February 5th:

“We have a committee of four that reviews those applications. It can be for any sort of arts activity, visual, musical, performing, literary, interdisciplinary art project, and we want folks to make a concerted effort to serve diverse and underrepresented populations. These grants range anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000.”

Meanwhile, the Artist in Residency program is back this summer with the BCA. Applications are due by April 1st. Gilbert shares that the artist or artists selected will be creating a mural for the side of the Tin Cup building.
