IHSA Executive Director Confident Some Outdoor Sports Can Be Played This School Year

With time ticking down on the 2020-2021 school year, there are doubts about being able to play a full winter sports schedule. IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson feels confident about traditional spring sports like baseball, softball and track having seasons this school year.

The IHSA is still waiting on “return to play” and will meet again on Jan. 27. They are still hoping all sports–even “high risk” sports such as football, basketball and wrestling—can still have seasons this school year.
