Warren-Henderson Ag in the Classroom Utilizing ‘Ag Bags’ to Remain Connected with Students

Share

Virtual field trips, online content, and recently an ag bag have been the creative ways the Warren-Henderson Ag in the Classroom has been continuing to bring agriculture topics to the students. Ag Education Coordinator Anna Sharp shares the ag bags are filled with several activities:

“We have different activities. Our dairy ag bag, this month of January we are focusing on dairy. I am trying to make it so they cover a range of younger students through upper elementary at least. Some of the things would work for Junior High students as well, but we are trying to have some activities and links to videos. This month for the younger kids we are making moo masks and different fun activities like butter shake ups. So just some cool stuff.”

The Ag Bags can be picked up at the Warren and Henderson County Libraries and upon request at the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau in Monmouth.
