Arthur W. “Art” Dinwiddie, Jr. age 55, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away
at 10:15 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 at his residence in Oquawka. He
was born November 7, 1965 in Aledo, Illinois, the son of Arthur W. and
Carol (Bibee) Dinwiddie. Art attended school in Aledo and attended Aledo
High School. On September 22, 2019, he married Michelle L. Teel in
Monmouth, Illinois and she is surviving. Art was previously married to
Jessica Stivers. Art worked as an over the road truck driver for almost
thirty years; first with Carlson Trucking and lastly with Thompson
Trucking.

Art is survived by his wife Missy, his father Art and step-mother Verna
of Berwick, Illinois, one son, Jake Dinwiddie of Albuquerque, New
Mexico, two step-daughters, Kayla (Matt Greenlief) Wade and Telia Teel,
one step-son, Cecil Teel, four sisters, Sheila Mejia, Rita (Alan)
Christie, Jane Nims, and Debra (Brett) Hippen, and grandchildren Clare
Wade, Zoe Wade, Renezzmae Lodwick, and Zion Teel. Also surviving are
many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Carol,
sister Sherry Ann, and special “mom” Roberta.

As were Art’s wishes, cremation is being accorded. No services are
currently planned. A memorial is being established for his family. For
