Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer has added another community service role to his portfolio as a newly appointed member of the Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education.  Superintendent  Ed Fletcher explains the appointment as well as who was elected Secretary:

“The Board gave to oath of office to Joe Switzer. He will be on to fill the seat vacated by Anita Sells who moved out of the district. We welcome Mr. Switzer to the board and look forward to working with him over the next two years. We also had to elect a Secretary until our next April meeting and we chose Joe Bratcher as the Secretary for the next couple of months. Then we will see what happens at the reorganization meeting in April after the April elections.”

Switzer has also served on the Warren County YMCA Board.   Superintendent Fletcher also reports the Board approved a life safety amendment which includes upgrading the phone system and intercom system at the Junior High in Roseville.  Titan Nation will also add in-person Pre-K beginning March 22nd and all students will have the option to return to a 5-day non-hybrid schedule beginning March 26th until the end of the school year.   For more details, contact the Monmouth-Roseville district office.
