The Monmouth-Roseville Titan girls basketball team began their truncated season with a 35 point win over the Macomb Bombers on Monday night. The Titans now hit the road to Abingdon on Thursday for a date with the A-Town Tornadoes. The Tornadoes are (2-0) after getting wins over Macomb and Bushnell-Prairie City.
Thursday’s game starts a busy run for the Titans, with most of them being in the friendly confines of Monmouth-Roseville High School. Following the road game on Thursday, they will host Orion on Saturday at noon, host West Hancock on Monday and then face off with their rivals, the Knoxville Blue Bullets at home next Wednesday.
Monmouth-Roseville girls basketball head coach Scott Weber said he’s looking forward to the challenge of the short turnarounds, starting with the A-Town Tornadoes.
