Mon-Rose’s Grant Making the Best of His Boys Basketball Team Getting a Late Start Due to COVID Issues

Due to a few Covid-19 issues on the freshman and varsity teams, the Monmouth-Roseville Titan boys varsity basketball team will be getting a later start than most of the schools around the area. The Titans had to cancel, or postpone, their first three scheduled games this winter. They were scheduled to play Macomb on Monday, Abingdon-Avon next Friday and Orion the following day. The Abingdon-Avon game has been rescheduled for February 25th and the Macomb match up will be played on March 11th. The Titan boys have also added a game against Moline at Wharton Field House on March 3rd.

Titan boys basketball head coach Chuck Grant was disappointed that his team will not get on the floor until February 16th against West Hancock, but says he and his club will just make the best of it.
