Ruby L. Cirimotich, 76, of Galesburg, died peacefully at her son’s home on February 11, 2021 at 8:13 a.m.

Ruby was born November 23, 1944 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland the daughter of William and Helen (Smith) Livermore.  She married Robert F. Cirimotich on December 3, 1966 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Galesburg.  Ruby is survived by one son, Brad (Cassie) Cirimotich of Galesburg; two grandchildren, Thorne Knisley of Galesburg and Logan Cirimotich of Carol Stream; and two great grandchildren, Anselmaria (Selly) and Abraham Knisley.  Ruby is also survived by one brother, Jimmy (Jody) Livermore of Galesburg; and one sister, Linda Livermore of Galesburg.  Ruby was preceded in death by her parents. 

Ruby worked in retail for many years, working at Arlen’s, Bergner’s, and the last 13 years at Tan For Less, retiring in December 2013.  Ruby enjoyed traveling back to her homeland of Scotland and to Cozumel, Mexico with her friends and family, where she enjoyed the people, culture, food, and sun.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and did so as often as she could.

No visitation will be held.  Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, with Chaplain Katie Gallagher officiating.  Private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made in Ruby’s memory to Beacon of Hope Hospice.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
