Shots Fired Call Results in Two Injured

On Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 0428 hours, the Galesburg Police Department responded to 456 S. Chambers Street in reference to shots being fired in the house. Reports to 911 indicated people had been injured.
Officers were close to the area and responded. Upon arrival, 30 to 40 people were observed leaving the residence and running in all directions. Officers were directed into the residence to find the victims.
Upon entering the residence, officers found that two adult subjects had suffered bullet wounds. Eric Muhammed, age 35, had a gunshot wound to the leg, and Andrew White, age 29, had a gunshot wound to the foot.
Both subjects were transported to the hospital and treated. Both subjects are expected to make a full recovery.
The Galesburg Police Department is conducting an investigation into this matter. Preliminary information suggests that this is an isolated incident. There is no identified threat to the public.
