United JR. High is this month’s school spotlight. School is getting back to normal with the return of clubs and sports such as the sports broadcasting club, speech team, scholastic bowl, math team, and girls’ volleyball. Principal of United Jr. High, Chad Robertson, shares information about their return to school:

“Started out in a hybrid schedule and then things were going well and the numbers were looking good so then we got four day with half days and that was going really well and then March 1st next Monday we go five days all day.”

United JR High has implemented a Friday 5 program. Five students are selected based on their demonstration of one of the 5 core values: respect, responsibility, compassion, integrity, and academic excellence. Selected students are rewarded with a DQ Blizzard sponsored by Dairy Queen.
