Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack outlining for farm broadcasters Wednesday the overall goal of the new Pandemic Assistance for Producers initiative.

“The home goal here is to make sure that when we are providing COVID relief, we recognize that COVID is impacting and affected virtually every aspect of agriculture and the supply chain. We are trying to do our best along with the American Rescue Plan to do what we can and to holster that supply chain, to provide the help and assistance to keep people on the farm, and to make sure it is equitably administered.”
