Local elections will be taking place; The City of Monmouth elections include City Mayor, City Clerk, and Alderman Wards 1 and 4. The Village of Alexis and Greenbush are electing a trustee and Roseville and Floyd Townships are electing highway commissioners. Schoolboard elections for Bushnell, Galesburg, West Central, United, and Abington-Avon are also taking place. Tina Conard, Warren County Clerk and Recorder, shares:
“We started early voting on February 25th so we are currently voting Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. We are open through the lunch hour, the recorder’s office is closed but the election office will be open for voting. We have extended hours for this election on March, 29th, 30th,31st will be open till 6 pm. We are closed Good Friday but will be open again on Saturday April 3rd from 8am to noon.
Registered voters will report to their local polling place or you may call to request a vote by mail ballot.
