After having to postpone and cancel numerous events in 2020, the Western Illinois Animal Rescue has several events lined up during this calendar year, beginning with Fish Fry Friday on March 26th from 5 to 8 at the Monmouth VFW, explains Treasurer Jan Helms:
“Fish Fry Friday at the VFW. It is $10 for two pieces of fish, fries, and coleslaw. There will be merchandise available and donations are also welcomed at any time. You can dine-in, drive-up, or you can carry-out.”
In the months ahead, Western Illinois Animal Rescue has other fundraising events scheduled, including a Doggie Wash in April, Dan’s Furever Furry Friends in May, a Dan Porter Memorial Event in June, and a bags tournament in August.
