Local entrepreneur Dillan Vancil has recently brought a new opportunity for the residents of the Monmouth and surrounding community. Vancil and his wife are the owners of the new Dame Fine Coffee establishment, located at 501 North Main Street here in Monmouth. The business offers specialty coffee, lotus energy, and more Maple City inspired drinks. Vancil shares what motivated his family to bring this opportunity to Monmouth:
“When we were up here running errands we wanted to get a cup of coffee. Well you either at that time go to Galesburg or for us Burlington, since we are kind of in between. We thought it would be a really good idea to bring in a drive-thru coffee specialty drink shop here in Monmouth. We just jokingly talked about that at one point in time. Then it got a little more serious later last summer, so we decided to have a custom trailer built.”
Dame Fine Coffee is currently operating under their winter hours of Monday through Saturday 7 am to 4 pm and Sundays 7 am to 1 pm.
