Following a heart-breaking buzzer beating loss at Mendon Unity on Wednesday night, the Monmouth-Roseville Titan girls basketball team took on another quality ballclub in the Farmington Farmers at Monmouth-Roseville High School. It took awhile for the Titans to get their legs back under them and after trailing most of the first quarter, Monmouth-Roseville hit a late bucket to lead 10-9 after the first eight minutes. They extended the lead to 25-16 at the half and led 40-29 at the end of the third quarter. The scrappy Lady Farmers would make several runs at the Titans in the final period but Monmouth-Roseville would make just enough plays to get a 47-37 win and improve to (8-2) on the season. Farmington falls to (6-4). Monmouth-Roseville’s Ryley Huston followed up a 27 point night in the loss to Mendon Unity on Wednesday with a 31 point effort against Farmington.
