A locally owned and operated Monmouth business is under new ownership. Justin McKeown has recently purchased the former Independent Refrigeration and Heating and is now operating under the new name IHC Heating and Cooling bringing the same level of expertise to all residential and light commercial HVAC services:
“I started working for Independent Refrigeration in 1997. I was still in high school and have taken on many different roles throughout the years. I started as an installer then you kind of work your way up from that to a service tech to where I am now. We have been in basically the same location since 1976 where the previous owner Joh Wilson started the business. He is still taking care of the commercial end. He does the grocery stores and those types of buildings, but I am handling almost all of the residential and light commercial we have out there. It has been a long time coming and I am really happy to keep serving the people of Monmouth and it is a great opportunity.”
