PCSN High School Football Broadcast Schedule

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan and United football teams finally get to get on the field for real this weekend. Both teams missed the official opening weekend, albeit for different reasons.

The Titans had already planned on getting their season started later than others. Most teams in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference decided not to play the first eligible week in order to be at full-strength with the addition of players that were playing basketball when the first official football practices could be held. The final basketball game of the season for the Titan boys was scheduled for March 11th and boys playing football started practicing on March 12th. That would get those players transitioning from basketball, a full set of state-mandated ten practices before playing their first football game at Peru St. Bede on March 26th.

The United Red Storm, on the other hand, were all set to play the Mid County Cougars co-op on March 20th but that game was canceled on March 15th due to covid-positive cases in one of the school districts that make up the Cougar football program. Mid County is a combination of the Galva, ROWVA and Williamsfield school districts. Mid County’s football game against Princeville on March 26th has been canceled, as well. The United Red Storm will now start their season on March 26th at home against Annawan/Wethersfield. It will be Senior Night for the Red Storm.
