Terry L. Allen, 66, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 5:36 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Marigold Rehab & Health Care, Galesburg, IL.

He was born on June 5, 1954 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Walter and Jean (Musgrave) Allen.  Terry was raised and educated in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1972. 

Terry married Karen Nelson in August of 1974, they later divorced.  He later married Pamela Baker on March 17, 2007 in Monmouth, IL; she preceded him in death on January 1, 2020. 

Terry worked in the maintenance department at Farmland foods in Monmouth for many years.  He later worked as a rural mail carrier, and most recently he drove a truck for Pierce Trucking in Monmouth.  Terry enjoyed working on hot rods, going to car shows, building model railroads, singing in the church choir and listening to music.  He was an avid Chicago Bears & Cubs fan.  Terry really enjoyed spending time with his family.  He accepted the Lord as his savior and was baptized in 1983.  Terry was a member of Rozetta Baptist Church.  Most of all, he enjoyed reading devotionals, studying the Bible and sharing the gospel with others. 

Surviving Terry are his children, Jason (Christen) Allen of Monmouth, IL, Kristin (Matt) Zurmuehlen of Burlington, IA, Kameron Allen of Burlington, IA, Tyson (Amanda) Allen of Burlington, IA; three step children and their families; fourteen grandchildren; one sister, Kathy (George) Harvey of Monmouth, IL; and one brother, Bill (Kate) Allen of Des Moines, IA. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Pam Allen, and one son, Justin Allen.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Terry Allen Memorial Fund.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance.
