Welcome new Buchanan Center Board Member Stephanie Hilten!
Born and raised in the Monmouth area, I was excited to return to the area following my undergrad degree at Western Illinois University. Nonprofit work has always been a passion and I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to serve as the Executive Director of Advancement for Carl Sandburg College. During my four years in that role, we raised over $11M, tripling our endowment and establishing two Promise Programs for the service area before I left for my next chapter with OSF HealthCare.
I currently serve as the Upper Western Region Major Gifts Officer for OSF Healthcare, covering St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth and Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee. I am responsible for the cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects and the strategic execution and management of a comprehensive giving program. I create a Case for Support for all areas of my assigned territory within the Healthcare System, develop and implement solicitation strategies for programs highlighted in the plan, including department specific annual appeals such as corporate campaigns, employee campaigns and physician campaigns.
I am passionate about the power of philanthropy and the good it can provide for rural communities. When I am not working, you can find me on the farm helping my husband with our 4th generation cattle farm or spending time outdoors with our two young children, Calvin and Macy.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve on the Buchanan Center for the Arts Board! I look forward to actively playing a role to better our community.
