McVey has worked for the street department since 2008 and is a lifelong resident of the community. He has performed many different projects during his time with the City, ranging from fixing water mains in the dead of winter to repairing the roads in the summer heat and everything in between. His new responsibilities include managing the street department and all its personnel, including safety, job assignments, maintenance, record keeping, and reporting. Meanwhile, the Public Works Department hired a new Water Department Superintendent following Roger Blackman’s retirement.
