Monmouth Little Lions Baseball League Extends Date for Evaluation Day

Share

Rain wiped out the original dates of April 10th and 11th for the Monmouth Little Lions Baseball League evaluation day. The dates were rescheduled to April 17 and 18th and extended even further to Sunday, April 25th. All age groups will be evaluated at 2:00 at Harmon Park in Monmouth. There will be two separate age groups in the Lions League this summer. The Minor League will be boys or girls aged 8-9 and a Major League, consisting of 10-12 year olds. All players that are evaluated will be placed on a team. A $50 fee will be charged per player. This fee covers the cost of the player’s shirt, cap and socks, all of which the player keeps following the season. Fee scholarships are available upon request.

Here’s an AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM Morning Show interview with Lions Club board member Mark Richardson with more details on the league and evaluation day.
