Nearly 16 Months After Being Hired, United Red Storm Softball Coach Marc McMahon Finally Gets on the Field

Long-time travel-softball coach Marc McMahon was approved by the United School Board in early January 2020. He held a few practices for the Red Storm in March of that same year, then the coronavirus pandemic hit and the season was canceled. McMahon finally got on the field Monday night, as United hosted West Central in a Lincoln Trail Conference match up. The Storm out-hit the Heat but would fall 5-2 on the scoreboard.

McMahon joined Prairie Communications Sports Director on the WRAM Morning Show on Tuesday and talked about the Red Storm softball squad getting back on the field for the first time in over 700 days.
