Alcohol related arrest made after traffic stop in Gulfport

Henderson County Sheriff Donald E. Seitz releases, on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 at 2:53AM, a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on US Rt. 34 at the Great River Bridge in the Village of Gulfport.

The Deputy arrested Wesley M. Huddleston of Burlington, IA, age: 33 for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, No Valid Driver’s License, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign. Huddleston was also arrested on a $3000.00, Henderson County Failure to Appear Warrant.

The Deputy transported Huddleston to the Henderson County Jail to be processed and placed into jail. Huddleston charges are felony no bond charges and will be seen in front of a Judge for bond to be set.

Assisting agency was the Oquawka Police Department.

ALL SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
