Biggsville Man Injured in Single Vehicle Crash in Henderson County

WHAT:                      Single Vehicle Traffic Crash with Injury

WHERE:                   Illinois Route 94, just north of Illinois Route 116, Media Township, Henderson County.

WHEN:                      May 2, 2021 at 3:17 a.m.

VEHICLE:                Unit 1 – 2006 White Chevrolet Silverado

DRIVER:                   Unit 1 – Tyler J. Scott, a 25-year-old male from Biggsville, IL – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

PRELIMINARY:      Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 94, just north of Illinois Route116. Unit 1 left the roadway on the right shoulder, entering the east ditch. Unit 1 continued in the east ditch and became airborne. Unit 1 struck the north side of a creek embankment and overturned onto the roof. The driver of Unit 1 was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No further information will be disseminated at this time.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
