Burlington man arrested on several charges in Gulfport

Henderson County Sheriff Donald E. Seitz releases on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 3:00AM, a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on US Rt. 34 at Stevenson Lake in the Village of Gulfport.

Deputies arrested Keyst W. Heater of Burlington, IA, age: 40 for Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Weapons and was given a citation for loud exhaust. After a search of Heater’s vehicle, Deputies located an uncased firearm underneath the driver’s seat and also located methamphetamine in a plastic container.

The Deputy transported Heater to the Henderson County Jail to be processed and placed into jail. Heater’s charges are felony no bond charges and will be seen in front of a Judge for bond to be set.

Assisting agency was the Oquawka Police Department.

ALL SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
