Donna E. Neal, 87, of Galesburg, IL passed away at 6:57 am, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Farmington, IL.

Donna was born April 10, 1934 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Jesse E and Mary (Hood) Cook.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth and attended Monmouth High School.

Donna married Clarence A. Briggs in Monmouth, IL on May 15, 1954 and he died June 1981. She later married Donald C. Neal on January 18, 1991 and he died October 10, 2018.

Donna worked assembling refrigerators at Maytag for 30 years before retiring.  She loved fishing especially along the Mississippi River.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, James (Gloria) Briggs of Wataga, IL, Cathy (James) Walker of Farmington, IL, Mary (John) Menchaca of Peoria, IL, Donnie (Kim) Neal of Monmouth, IL and Lewy Neal of Knoxville, IL.  She was also a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 14, 2021 at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL.  No visitation hours are planned.
