Henderson County Deputies Respond to Motor Vehicle Crash Involving a Motorcycle

Henderson County Sheriff, Donald E. Seitz releases, a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident at County Highway 3 at Township Road 2650N in the Township of Oquawka, IL. Dennis E. McBride, Jr. of Oquawka, IL, age: 49, driving a 2000 Super Glide Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on County Highway 3 losing control of the motorcycle. McBride went into the right ditch of the roadway, where he was ejected off of the motorcycle landing in a field.

McBride had significant injuries and was airlifted to the University Hospital of Iowa City, IA, by MEDFORCE helicopter.    

Assisting agencies were the Oquawka Ambulance Service, the Oquawka Fire Protection District and the Keithsburg Fire Department.

McBride was issued two citations for No Valid Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, court date 06/02/2021 at 10AM.

ALL SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
