Local Players on IHSFCA Football All-State Teams

The Illinois High School Football Coaches Association officially released their All-State teams on Tuesday.

The Lincoln Trail Conference was well represented. Both Annawan/Wethersfield and Princeville each had two players make the 1A lists, with all four being seniors. A/W’s Coltin Quagliano was a first-team QB/DB and his teammate Tukr Miller was a 1A Honorable Mention TE/LB. Princeville’s Peyton Garcia was first-team OL/DL. Fellow Prince Hunter Boland was an Honorable Mention RB/LB.

Mercer County had two seniors on the Class 2A teams. Trace Seefeld was a first-team OL/DL and Matthew Gray was named to the Honorable Mention list as a LB/TE.

The Prairieland Conference had a pair of local players on the All-State teams. Knoxville senior Alex Vannaken was a Class 2Q first-team LB/OL and Farmington’s Lewis Dridyn (DRY-did) was a Class 3A Honorable Mention LB/RB.
