Mildred Runion 92 of Alexis died May 14, 2021 at home.  She was born February 16, 1929 the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Nadine (Harland) Holmes.  She married William Runion in North Henderson.

She is survived by her daughters Rebecca “Becky” (John) Brown of Alexis, Il and Gloria (Gary) Logsdon of Oakrun.  Five Grandsons Mike (Karen) Brown of Sullivan, Jerami (Nicole) Brown of Alexis, Il, Joseph (Stacy) Brown of Alexis, Andy (Sierra) Logsdon of Moline, and Aaron Logsdon of Galesburg, one nephew, Dan (Beth) Fridley of Galesburg, 2 great grandchildren, Alanna Brown of Sullivan, Mason Brown of Alexis, 3 great nieces and nephews, Zach, Lily, and Mathew Fridley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Timothy Runion, and her sister, Iris Fridley.

Mildred was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home in Alexis, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm prior to service. Burial will be in Mt Vernon Cemetery in North Henderson, IL. Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise Family Funeral Home in Alexis, IL. is in charge of the arrangements.
