Oquawka Woman Arrested After Striking Power Pole Guide Line Wire

Henderson County Sheriff Donald E. Seitz releases a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident in the 100 block of N 9th St. in Oquawka, IL. Holly P. Braun of Oquawka, IL, age: 48, was driving a 2013 Ram truck, pulled onto a boulevard striking a power pole guide line wire. Braun then backed up, causing the pole’s guide line wire to get tangled between the front passenger fender and passenger side quarter panel of the truck, causing damages to the quarter panel.

No injuries were reported.

The Deputy arrested Braun for Driving While License Suspended and Driving without Insurance. Braun also was arrested on two Warren County Misdemeanor Warrants.

The Deputy transported Braun transported to the Henderson County Jail to be booked in and processed. The Deputy gave Braun a notice to appear on her local charges. Braun was transported to the Warren County Jail. 

Assisting agencies were the Biggsville Ambulance Service and the Oquawka Fire Protection District.

ALL SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
