Stanley R. “Stan” Logsdon, age 73, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at
7:09 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his home. He was born October 4,
1947 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Duard and Mandy (Neal) Logsdon.
Stan attended schools in Monmouth and Law School in rural Monmouth. He
was previously married to Mary Jo LeFort. Stan worked for Wilson Foods
in Monmouth, Excel in Beardstown, and lastly, for the Monmouth Park
District in Monmouth. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Chicago Cubs, and
Kentucky Wildcats basketball. Stan loved family gatherings, and having a
beer with his friends.

Stan is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (James) Hunt of Kewanee,
Illinois, two sons, Steve Logsdon and his significant other Stella
Martinez of Monmouth, Illinois and Cory (Davina) Logsdon of Ringgold,
Georgia, one step-son, John (Katie) Steele of Roseville, Illinois, and
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death
by his parents, his wife Mary Jo, and his brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Stan Logsdon is planned for 11:00 AM on Thursday,
May 20, 2021 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Visitation
will be from 9:30-11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Warren County Memorial Park. A memorial is being
established for his family. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks will be
required and social distancing should be observed. For more information,
