Two Redevelopment Opportunities Bringing New Businesses to Galesburg Community

Share

Two economic re-development opportunities are coming to Galesburg. Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer shares a multi-unit retail center will be located at the former Sirloin Stockade site as well as a new brew pub and event venue:

“Redevelopment of the former Sirloin Stockade property at North Henderson and Carl Sandburg Drive in North Galesburg, that is going to be turned into a multi-unit retail center. It will likely end up as a mix of retail, probably some medical, and at least one restaurant. Unfortunately final tenants have not been announced. The second project is also extremely cool; this is the redevelopment of a building at 185 South Kellogg Street on the southern edge of downtown Galesburg. That is going to be renovated and turned into a brand new brew pub and event venue.”
