Maralyn Joan Singleton 82, of Bushnell died June 25, 2021, at her home.  She was born March 5, 1939, in Prairie City, Il the daughter of Charles and Mable (Courtney) Purchase.  She married Kenneth Singleton January 3, 1958, in Burlington, Ia. He preceded her in death February 5, 2004.

She is survived by her sons Danny (Lynn) Singleton of O’Fallon, Mo, Dale (Launa) Singleton of Prairie City, Il, Rodney (Linda) Singleton of Brighton, Il, and Roger ( Lilly) Singleton of Leesville, LA.  14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, one Great grandchild on the way.  One Brother Melvin Purchase of Galesburg, Il, One sister Mary Larson of Geneseo, Il. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Kenny JR. one great grandson, and two brothers Raymond and Donald.

Joan enjoyed her crafts.  She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.  Joan Loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held Monday June 28, 2021, at 11:30 at the Prairie City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to service at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon, Il from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon, Il is in charge of arrangements.
