Monmouth Fire and Police Departments Build Eligibility List Through Testing Applicants

Share

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will be testing applicants next month to form an entry-level eligibility list informs Communications Director Ken Helms:

“Both the police and fire maintain eligibility lists that are just basically always there and then if there is a vacancy, they work off that list. It is a number of different criteria and they pass different tests that then rank them on the listing. Then they kind of go from the top down on there.”

Meanwhile, Monmouth Fire Chief Casey Rexroat’s employment contract has been renewed by City Council for 12 months, which runs through April 30, 2022.
