Monmouth Police Officers Complete Mandatory Training

The Monmouth police officers have completed 150 hours of training mandated by the Training and Standards Board. Communications Director Ken Helms says the training is part of the new Police Reform Act:

“The training included Civil Rights, Use of Force, Cultural Competency, Procedural Justice, some law updates, and Constitutional law enforcement activity. That is all a part of the Police Reform Act that the state passed through a couple months ago.”
