COVID-19 has definitely had a negative impact on the stock market. However, Jason Spanhook, a financial advisor associated with Edward Jones, predicts we will get back on track soon:

“Looking forward to the year, it’s dangerous to engage in predicting the future, but what I can say for long term: we think that as society gets more normal, as we all get vaccinated and all these things occur, spending will return to pre-COVID levels. We’re pretty confident of that. We will continue that long-term great returns that the stock market has given us over the last hundred plus years.”
