July is upon us, which means the Warren County Fair is right around the corner. This will be its 93rd year of being held, as it was first established since 1928. Agricultural Fair Board President Ben Thompson gives us a schedule for this year’s fair events:
“We start off July 17th with the Queens’ Pageant with the Little Miss and Junior Miss. That will be right there in Eldridge Park in Roseville at 5:30 p.m. We got a lot of contestants, so that should be a very nice evening. Then we roll into the following week with the livestock shows, and then we got a Kids’ Night. We’ll have chicken scramble, pig scramble, bouncy houses, and an obstacle course. Then we go into Thursday, where we have a Figure 8 Thursday and Saturday, and our Demolition Derby is Friday, July 23rd. Sunday will be mud volleyball, and we are also doing a 5K that morning.”
Entry will cost $5 on Wednesday for the Kids’ Night, and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be $10 for the Figure 8 and Demolition Derby.
