Galesburg Railroad Days is back this weekend along with the train and toy show, which will be held in the Knox College T. Fleming Fieldhouse. Director Barry Wainer highlights what will be on display:
“We are going to have probably close to 350 table of merchandise and probably five or six train layouts over there. One of the things we are doing this year is a contest. What you will do is on Saturday, whatever you built it has to be 1/24 and up scale plastic kit, you will bring it to us, we will put it on display, and we are going to let the public decide which is the best model. We are giving prizes away to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.”
The train and toy show will be held 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. Admission is $5.
