Warren County United Way to Host Hispanic Festival in Downtown Monmouth

Share

The Warren County United Way along with Smithfield Foods, the Monmouth College Art Department, and Buchanan Center for the Arts will be hosting a festival highlighting the Hispanic community in Monmouth and the region. The event has grown in anticipated participation and the United Way has asked City Council for approval in moving the event to the downtown square says Mayor Rod Davies:

“They had food vendors and dancing and a mariachi band, piñatas, etc. lined up and that event had grown in popularity and vendor requests and so they came to Council to move that to the Northeast quadrant where we could have more room and more space and hopefully more opportunities for the public to engage and be involved.”

The Hispanic Festival is scheduled for September 18th from 5 to 10 pm.
