The Western Illinois University Agronomy Field Day will be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 1.

Guided plot tours will begin from the Agronomy Shed (285 Ember Rd). Experiments addressing weed management solutions will be highlighted, along with preliminary studies using a unique composting product, and a cropping system study that is integrating livestock grazing.

All activities will be conducted outside. Attendees are encouraged to be vaccinated, and, if not yet fully vaccinated, to wear masks.

The event, open free to the public, will last approximately two hours.
