JCC Continues to Bring Seniors Meals at a Growing Rate in Warren and Henderson Counties

Share

The Senior Nutrition program through the Jamieson Community Center is slowly opening up even further. It’s still going strong, says Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“I think we had four or five new participants sign-up just this week. Right now, anybody 60 and older is eligible. We are getting ready to open back up our congregate meal sites. We have sites in Monmouth at Strom Center, in Kirkwood at the Kirkwood Senior Center; we have a site in Oquawka, in Stronghurst, and in Roseville, and we deliver throughout all of Warren and Henderson counties.”

Because of COVID-19, home deliveries have more than doubled for the program. While you can order via your mobile device and have it delivered to your home, you can also visit any of the open centers and pick up you order from there.
