Linda Marie Gustafson, 71, of Galesburg, died at 2:28 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, in OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

She was born June 10, 1950, in Galesburg, the daughter of Donald G. and Louise E. (Pedigo) Park.  She was married to David Carlson.  Later, she married Robert “Bob” John Gustafson Jr. on December 19, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Sonya Taylor of Galesburg; son, Lucas (Stacy) Gustafson of Galesburg; five grandchildren, Zackary Anderson, Madison Taylor, Nikki Gustafson, Lucas Gustafson, and Luna Gustafson; two sisters, Shirley (Rocky) Lester of Galesburg and Mary (Rory) Franck of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Hope Gustafson; and a brother, Dale Park.

Linda was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1968.  She worked at Gross Manufacturing for many years.  She then worked in the cafeteria at OSF St. Mary Medical Center for several years before retiring.

Linda was a Christian.  She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, horror movies, and animals.

Cremation will be accorded.  Celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angels Humane Society, W.I.A.R. (Western Illinois Animal Rescue), or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
