Locals Carol Parrish and Diane Federow Are Hosting an Event that Educates on the Constitution

Share

A new, six-session event will be taking place at the American Legion on Thursday evenings, starting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on August 10th. Carol Parrish, one of the coaches for the event, gives more information:

“It’s called Constitution Alive and it’s a national program going for about ten years now. It was initially started by a Texas legislator, who realized that the population didn’t really know the constitution. And so, he put this together. It’s free to the public and it’s for the entire family. It’s recommended for about ten to eleven-year-olds as the youngest so they can understand the principals being presented.”

The classes will consist of an educational, bi-partisan video series from Rick Green and David Barton that will teach the “biblical, historical, and constitutional foundation of freedom.” If you would like to make a reservation, call your local Constitution Alive coaches Carol Parrish at (309) 221-3864 or Diane Federow at (309) 335-7839.
