A 19-year-old Monmouth man was arrested on an armed robbery warrant after reportedly pistol-whipping another teenager and stealing a large amount of cash and a pair of shoes from him earlier this month.

Mulleek Odomes, 19, was detained early Sunday on the warrant.

The victim, 18, who had extensive injuries to the face, was taken to OSF Holy Family Medical Center on June 17, after being left on the side of a roadway in Monmouth.

According to a police report, the victim was robbed of $2,000 cash and a pair of blue suede Air Jordan tennis shoes after being struck in the head with a handgun.

When Odomes was picked up on warrant and transported to the Warren County jail, he was wearing a pair of shoes matching that description.
