It’s Founder’s Day for OSF HealthCare. President of OSF St. Mary’s and Holy Family Medical Center, Lisa DeKezel, shares they are celebrating 144 years of service:
“It really helps us to go back and tap into our roots and who we are and what our mission is all about and remind us of what it is to be a mission partner. Our employees here at OSF HealthCare are referred to as mission partners and because we know we were called here to serve with the greatest care and love and never turn anyone away that God sends to us for care. That is our pledge as we align with that mission of our sisters that was established 144 years ago.”
Meanwhile, the $5 million 10,000 square foot new Emergency Department has officially begun on the OSF HealthCare Holy Family campus in Monmouth. The project is expected to be completed in February of 2022.
