The Blackhawks are saddened over the passing of legendary former player Tony Esposito.  The team announced yesterday that the Hall of Fame goalie died at the age of 78 following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.  Esposito played all but one of his 16 NHL seasons with the Hawks.  He was a three-time Vezina Trophy winner as the top goaltender in the league and was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1970 for the top rookie in the NHL.  Esposito remains the all-time franchise leader in shutouts and career wins.
