Do You Qualify for Reduced License Plate Fees?

Share

Through the Benefit Access Program, seniors and persons with disabilities could qualify for discount fees on license plates and free rides on fixed-route transits. Strom Center Executive Director Carol McCrery explains:

“If you qualify for this program, you get your license plate fee at a reduced discount. The other one is you get free rides on fixed-route transit systems. Now that is mostly for big cities that will benefit from that, but it certainly is over $100 savings on your license plate fee, if you do qualify for that.”

Eligibility is determined by age, disability, residency, and income. For more information, contact McCrery at 734-5677.
