Fumiko Adam, 91, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 in her home.

She was born February 12, 1930 in Hokkaido, Japan. She was raised and educated in Japan.

She married Horace Clifford Adam on March 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1996.

Fumiko worked at Monmouth College in the Food Services department until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, gardening and traveling.

Surviving Fumiko is her son, Clifford (Wanda Wilson) Adam of Monmouth, IL; daughter Tina (Jeff) McCullough of Elgin, IL; grandchildren Zachery McCullough, Mika McCullough, Caydence Wilson, Eldon Wilson and Cole Schoene. Also surviving are Michiko Miura, Reiko Miura, Hiroyuki Miura, Yoko Miura, and Toshi Miura.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son Richard Adam.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery.
