GPD Seize Seven Illegal Firearms

On Friday, July 30, 2021 The Galesburg Police Department received a Crime Stoppers tip in reference to the location of stolen firearms. As a result of this time, seven illegal guns were seized. This is an example of how the partnership between the police and the community help make Galesburg a safer place to live.

Anyone with information on any criminal activity, can contact the Galesburg Police at (309) 343-9151 or the Galesburg area crime stoppers at (309) 344-0044.

You can also text your tip to Galesburg Crime Stoppers at 274637. Text keyword “Galesburg” and then your tip.
