ISP Investigating Two Vehicle Crash With Injuries in Henderson County

WHAT:                      Two Vehicle Personal Injury Traffic Crash

WHERE:                   700 E. at 750 N., Henderson County

WHEN:                      Aug. 21, 2021 at approximately 1:51 p.m.

VEHICLE:                Unit 1 – 2020 Gray Nissan Altima

                                    Unit 2 – 2011 Blue Ford F150

DRIVERS:                 Unit 1 – Angela L. Bowman, 46-year-old female from Burlington, IA – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.

Unit 2 – Bradley M. Shaw, 69-year-old male from Dallas City, IL – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.

PASSENGERS:         Unit 1 – Andrew S. Logel, 28-year-old male from Burlington, IA – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.              

Unit 1– Alexandra L. Andrews, 24-year-old-female from Burlington, IA – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.

Unit 1 – Juvenile, 5-year-old female from Burlington, IA – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.

Unit 2 – Juvenile, 4-year-old male from West Burlington, IA – Transported to an area hospital with injuries.

PRELIMINARY:      Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling northbound on 700 E at 750 N in Henderson County.  Unit 2 was traveling southbound at the same location.  Unit 1 failed to yield turning left onto 750 N.  Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in traffic.  All four occupants of Unit 1 were transported by ambulance with serious injury.  Both occupants of Unit 2 sustained minor injuries. 

CHARGES:               The driver of Unit 1 was issued a citation for Failure to Yield.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
